Participation in the Mabechi River Cleanup Campaign

On Saturday, May 25, the Tamagawa Seiki Group participated in the environmental volunteer “Mabechi River Cleanup Campaign.” The purpose of the Mabechi River Cleanup Campaign is to clean up the Mabechi River, which flows through the southern part of Aomori Prefecture, and leave to descendants an area blessed with clean water and beautiful nature. It is held every year under the auspices of the local “Mabechi River Love Association” with the cooperation of local government organizations and surrounding companies.
This time, 33 people from the Tamagawa Seiki Group participated, and on the day of the event, they spent about an hour walking along the river under sunny skies and picking up trash. Due to the cleanup activities of local people on a daily basis, the amount of garbage collected has decreased compared to previous years. In addition to contributing to the beautification activities of the surrounding area, it was also a good opportunity to get some daily exercise.
